About us
The Þykkvabær Potato Factory was founded by potato farmers in 1981. The first product we brought on the market was pre-boiled potatoes, a new concept in Iceland at the time, as well as French fries.
Throughout the years our production has increased and The Þykkvabær Potato Factory constantly adds to it‘s product lines to keep up with the demands of Iceland‘s potato-hungry market.
